Birding Corpus Christi

Following one of the coastal birding trails in Corpus Christi in Texas almost guarantees to find a huge diversity of bird species. The first trail was built in 1990 - it is the world’s first trail for birding. The region Corpus Christi is habitat for a great diversity and number of bird species: eastern habitats meet with dry western habitats and tropical areas blend into sub-tropical and temperate areas. Next to the beach there are brushy rangelands and rivers. Different migration routes converge at the coastal bend of Corpus Christi.
